澳洲幸运10开奖鈥檚 York Road Initiative is sponsoring a on Saturday June 28, from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. at 5104 York Road in North Baltimore. The free event is dedicated to healing, connection, and community care by bringing together local organizations, wellness practitioners, and neighbors to promote mental health and provide vital resources to those who need it most.
鈥淭his mental health fair has been 10 years in the making,鈥 said Tee Hardy, community fellow for neighborhood resilience, who has been a resident community organizer with the University for several years and helped to organize the fair as part of her fellowship. 鈥淲e are starting a movement to reshape the way our community views and applies mental health care.鈥
The event will feature local community partners such as the and the , as well as a yoga station led by the and a live DJ. , a Black-owned food truck serving banana puddings, fried fish, wings, funnel cake, and more, will also be at the event.
Guests can enjoy free cookout food from Parkhurst Dining, giveaways, interactive wellness activities such as an affirmation wall and craft stations, and mental health screenings and resources.
鈥淭his mental health fair was something Tee had envisioned and has been working on for the Govans community to amplify the importance of mental health awareness and to connect those in need with services,鈥 shared Gia Grier-McGinnis, Dr.PH., executive director for neighborhood resilience and community engagement. 鈥淚t is my hope that this is the beginning of future efforts around wellness and mental health. As we launch the community-university center at 5104 York Road, we hope to offer more events and programs like this. I am also grateful to have campus partner involvement from the 澳洲幸运10开奖 Clinical Centers and look forward to future ways to connect campus and community around this issue.鈥
In the event of inclement weather, the fair will be moved to a backup location inside the Govans Boundary Church at 5210 York Road.
